Roseville police look for missing 16-year-old boy

Roseville police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old boy who has been missing nearly a month.

Montel Cooper was last seen around noon Sept. 3 on foot leaving his home in the 20000 block of Flora. His grandmother and grandfather, who are his legal guardians, reported him as a voluntary missing juvenile at the time.

Montel was last seen wearing blue jean shorts, a gray T-shirt and white Nike gym shoes.

He is 5-foot-7, weighing 170 pounds and has short black hair and brown eyes. He has piercings in both ears. He has allergies for which he usually takes medication.

According to police, Montel may be staying in the area of the 1200 block of Elijah McCoy Drive in Detroit or the 38000 block of Union Lake Road in Harrison Township. Detectives checked the areas, but did not develop any new information.
