Central Michigan University student dies in apartment

Union Township, Mich. — Authorities say a 23-year-old Central Michigan University student has died after being found unresponsive by his roommates.

Police say the man was found late Saturday night in his Union Township apartment near the Mount Pleasant campus. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Michigan State Police haven’t released the man’s name but say he’s originally from Oakland County.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday and the death is being investigated by the state police and medical examiners.
