Ex-MSU DC Narduzzi not a fan of Harbaugh’s Florida trip
Apparently it’s not just the SEC who doesn’t like Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh’s plan to take his team to Florida for practices over spring break.
Pittsburgh coach and former Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi voiced his displeasure, stating that student-athletes should be resting during that time instead of practicing.
“If I was a high school player and you’re telling me I couldn’t go to Cancun or Daytona on spring break, I’d be kind of like, ‘Are you serious?’” Narduzzi told CoachingSearch.com. “I think kids need to stay fresh and they need a break.
“Our kids played a bowl game, and then they get a couple days off, so they don’t get much of a break. I know we’re in a business, but there’s a line between business and this is not the NFL.”

ACC chief: Harbaugh trip cuts into students' time
Michigan will have four practices over one week at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, starting on Feb. 29.
Narduzzi, who spent eight seasons with the Spartans from 2007-14, said his team’s practice will start in mid-March, when Pittsburgh’s break ends.
