How to watch: Tigers vs. Twins

The Detroit News
Mike Pelfrey (0-4, 4.64) starts against the Twins Sunday.

The Tigers look to go for the sweep as they close out their three-game series Sunday with the Twins at Target Field.

In doing so, right-hander Mike Pelfrey (0-4, 4.64) will need to get his first win as a Tiger while facing his former team. Right-hander Ricky Nolasco (1-0, 3.25) starts for the Twins.

In Saturday’s 4-1 win, Jordan Zimmermann continued his early season brilliance. The Tigers starter allowed one earned run on six hits while striking out seven with no walks in seven innings to go 5-0.

Justin Upton slammed a three-home run homer in the first, providing Zimmermann all the run support he needed. More so, Upton’s blast signaled the middle of the Tigers’ batting order is beginning to come to life.
