Paramus has $10,300 bill for Michigan Stadium
Paramus Catholic (N.J.) High School will spend about $10,300 to rent Michigan Stadium for its football game against St. Frances (Md.) Academy on Sept. 2.
A copy of the contract signed by Shelly Fabrizio, UM Athletics Director of Operations and Event Management, and Paramus president James Vail was obtained Thursday by The Detroit News under the open records act.
Here is a breakdown of the costs, according to the contract:
Field rental, $2,300
Locker room rental, $1,000
Cleaning, $2,500
Facilities staff, $720
Huron Valley Ambulance first responder, $1,500
Two or three police officers, $1,275
Parking attendants, $300
Game personnel, $750
The contract was signed on May 20 and Michigan requested an $825 deposit.
Michigan junior linebacker Jabrill Peppers is from Paramus, as is incoming freshman Rashan Gary, a defensive lineman and the nation’s top recruit in the 2016 class.
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh was the commencement speaker at the Paramus High graduation ceremony earlier this month.
