Draft predictions for Pistons all over the map
Thursday night is NBA draft night, the final mock drafts have been published, and a consensus has emerged.
Forward Deyonta Davis, who left Michigan State after just one season, will be selected before his former Michigan State teammate, guard Denzel Valentine.
Rod Beard of The Detroit News has Davis going to the Suns at No. 13 and Valentine to the Nuggets at No. 19 – one spot after the Pistons take Notre Dame guard Demetrius Jackson.
As for the Pistons, the predictions are all over the map. While Beard says Jackson, ESPN's Chad Ford thinks it'll be a different point guard -- Vanderbilt's Wade Baldwin IV.
Andrew Sharp of Sports Illustrated sees the Pistons taking a big man (Marquette's Henry Ellenson), as does the pundits at Draft Express (Juan Hernangomez from Spain), while Gary Parrish of CBS Sports says it'll be Valentine.
