Media pick Ohio State to win Big Ten
Ohio State was the pick to win the Big Ten championship in Cleveland.com’s annual media poll ahead of the college football season.
The poll has never picked the champion correctly in the five previous years it has been conducted. Cleveland.com polls media members in all of the Big Ten markets.
In East Division polling, Michigan was picked to finish second and Michigan State third. In the West Division, Iowa was the big favorite.
Media members predicted the division finishes, with seven points for a first-place vote through one point for a seventh-place vote.
