A man was robbed early Tuesday in Pontiac by armed men in a gray Chrysler PT Cruiser, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

The 49-year-old victim was walking along the 600 block of Homestead around 5:35 a.m. Tuesday when the suspects pulled up and exited their vehicle, officials said.

“The victim stated that each of the two males produced semi-automatic pistols and demanded his personal belongings,” officials said.

The victim, a Pontiac resident, surrendered his cellphone and $22 in cash. The suspects then returned to their vehicle and fled north on Homestead.

Responding deputies checked the area but could not locate the suspects, officials said. The victim was uninjured.

The suspects are described by police as two men aged 20 to 25 years old. They were driving a PT Cruiser with front end damage.
