Person of interest sought in Dearborn, county crimes

Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a $1,000 reward for tips leading to a person of interest in several recent home invasions in Dearborn and other Wayne County cities.

The Dearborn Police Department is working with Livonia police and several neighboring agencies to identify the man, who was captured on surveillance footage.

“Over the course of the past year there have been several home invasions and home invasion attempts and we are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the subject,” police said in a statement Thursday.

Details about the crimes were not released Thursday.

“We are asking anyone with information to please come forward and assist us in this investigation,” said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad. “We will do everything we can to keep the community safe and your help is needed to identify this person.”
