Clinton Township police are looking for two suspects who stole a truck and used the credit card inside to go on a shopping spree.

One suspect appeared to be holding a shopping bag and rolled-up carpet while talking on a cellphone.

A maroon colored 2007 Ford F-350 was stolen Aug. 3 from the Sherwood Forest Apartment Complex near 16 Mile and Harper, police said. The unnamed victim had left a wallet and other personal belongings inside the vehicle.

Two suspects used the victim’s credit card to make purchases in Detroit, Warren, and at a Walmart in Roseville. Police did not specify how much money was spent.

The second suspect walked by in a dark hoodie.

Investigators on Friday released surveillance images of the suspects inside the Roseville Walmart. One suspect appeared to be holding a shopping bag and rolled-up carpet while talking on a cellphone, while the second suspect walked by in a dark hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Clinton Township Police Detective Hill at (586) 469-6593. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
