Brady to be Michigan's honorary captain vs. Colorado
Detroit News
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be the honorary captain for the Michigan-Colorado football game at Michigan Stadium Sept. 17.
The Patriots will be at home the following day against the Dolphins but Brady will be serving the second of his four-game suspension stemming from Deflategate.
He'll miss the opener at Arizona Sept. 11, the home game against Miami, a Thursday night game at home against the Texans Sept. 22 and a home game against the Bills Oct. 2. He'll return to action in Cleveland Oct. 9.
Brady played at Michigan from 1995-99 as a backup on the 1997 national championship team and he led the team to an Orange Bowl victory as a senior.
