HOMESTYLE

White Lake garden is this week’s winner

When Sandra Bosca of White Lake developed extreme vertigo – a condition that makes you feel like the room is spinning out of control – she had to get creative with her gardening.

The result is a peaceful, lovely mix of annuals and perennials, including petunias and black-eyed susans.

It’s a “wonderful sanctuary,” says Bosca.

Bosca’s photo, “My Creative Handicapped Garden,” is this week’s winner of Homestyle’s Garden Photo Contest. She’ll win a free home or garden book. She’ll also be a finalist for the grand prize, a $100 gift card to English Gardens and a basket of gardening goodies.

Our contest is almost over but you have one more week to enter your best garden photo this year: go to detroitnews.com/gardenphotos. Or mail them to my attention at 160 W. Fort Street, Detroit MI 48226.
