Wings great Yzerman featured on Canadian stamp

Red Wings Hall of Fame great Steve Yzerman has been honored as one six NHL goal scorers to be featured on stamps issued by Canada Post.

Yzerman, who scored 692 goals and had 1,063 assists in 19 seasons for the Red Wings, joins Sidney Crosby, Mark Messier, Darryl Sittler, Guy Lafleur and Phil Esposito in the series. The Yzerman stamp is $1.80 Canadian.

The six played in more than 8,300 NHL games and scored more 3,800 goals and more than 5,700 assists. Between them, they have won 18 Stanley Cups.
