Donald Trump is headed back to Michigan on Friday for his fifth campaign trip to the Great Lakes State since the Republicans crowned him their presidential nominee in late July.

The GOP presidential candidate will rally supporters at 5 p.m. Friday at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, according to Trump’s campaign schedule.

Doors open at 2 p.m. and tickets can be reserved on Trump’s campaign website.

The New York businessman has placed a heavy emphasis on winning Michigan in his campaign for the White House against Democrat Hillary Clinton, who this week is deploying her daughter, the Rev. Jesse Jackson and her running mate’s wife to Michigan.

Chelsea Clinton is scheduled to stump for votes on Friday in Traverse City.

Anne Holton, wife of Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine, will campaign for Clinton and her husband on Tuesday in Detroit, Livonia and Ann Arbor. On Wednesday, Holton will be in East Lansing and Grand Rapids.

Jackson will attend voter registration events for the Clinton campaign on Tuesday in Detroit, Pontiac and Flint.

Since the July 18-21 Republican National Convention, Trump has visited Detroit twice, held a campaign rally in suburban Lansing and made a Sept. 14 trek to Flint.

The real estate mogul also has campaigned twice in nearby Toledo, Ohio, since the national convention ended and general election officially campaign began. The border city is a 45-minute to one-hour drive from the major media market of Detroit.

Clinton has visited once since her national convention in late July. She gave a speech on Aug. 11 at an aerospace factory in Warren.
