Allen Park – The Lions and Bears are both dealing with a slew of injuries heading into the team's Week 4 matchup in Chicago.

The Lions were without five players, including three starters during Wednesday’s practice. Defensive ends Ezekiel Ansah (ankle) and Wallace Gilberry (abdomen) and linebackers DeAndre Levy (quad) and Antwione Williams (hamstring) continue to deal with injuries from the previous weeks. Gilberry was the only one of the four able to take the field against the Packers last weekend.

Tight end Eric Ebron also sat, but with an ankle injury. He had been dealing with a back issue last week.

The Bears’ injury list is even longer with 15 players either not practicing or limited. That list includes 12 starters. Surprisingly, quarterback Jay Cutler (thumb) returned to practice as one of the limited participants.
