Crews battle fire at Grosse Pointe real estate agency

Firefighters from several communities are battling a blaze at a real estate office in Grosse Pointe, according to that city’s public safety department.
The fire broke out in the basement of Jim Saros Real Estate Services shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday at Mack and Cadieux, according to officials. It has grown to a four-alarm blaze, meaning at least four neighboring communities have been called in to help with the response.
It was not immediately clear if the building was occupied or if there were any injuries.
