River Rouge — The Michigan Supreme Court is on another road trip, hearing arguments in a case at River Rouge High School.

The state’s highest court commonly visits schools to introduce students to the judiciary. More than 200 students are expected to attend Wednesday.

They will get a chance to meet the justices and lawyers in the case.

The case centers on whether a coach could be liable for severe injuries suffered by a teenager who was hit by a car while running with his teammates around dawn. Kersch Ray was a freshman on the cross country team at Chelsea High School in 2011.

The Michigan appeals court ruled in favor of the coach.
