Detroit-Wayne State exhibition to aid schools

Detroit Mercy and Wayne State will be playing a men’s basketball exhibition at Calihan Hall at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $2, and all proceeds from the event will benefit Detroit Public Schools, grades K-5.

Detroit Mercy coach Bacari Alexander (Detroit Southwestern) and assistant Jermaine Jackson (Detroit Finney) will face Wayne State coach David Greer, who was an assistant at Detroit Mercy when they were co-captains.
