Live blog: OSU beats Michigan in 2OT
The Wolverines forced the Buckeyes into a fourth and 1 situation with the game on the line and J.T. Barrett just barely picked it up at the 15 yard line. On the very next play, Curtis Samuel went 15 yards to the house to lift OSU to a dramatic 30-27 win.
Wolverines settle for field goal
Michigan wasn't able to get anything going on offense to start the second overtime, settling for a 36-yard Kenny Allen field goal that gives the Wolverines a 27-24 lead.
Michigan gets huge fourth down TD
Amara Darboh went to the ground and caught a low throw from Wilton Speight on fourth down to keep the dream alive for the Wolverines.
After the first overtime, it's tied, 24-24.
Speight completed a 9-yard pass on first down to Jake Butt and De'Veon Smith took the ball inside the 10 for a first down two plays later.
Buckeyes strike first in OT
Michigan won the coin toss and chose to go on defense to start the first overtime.
The Buckeyes picked up 13 yards on a Curtis Samuel run down to the Michigan 8 and J.T. Barrett ran into the end zone untouched on the very next play, giving OSU a 24-17 lead.
The Wolverines will get the ball back with a chance to force a second overtime.
Late field goal puts 'The Game' into OT
Tyler Durbin hit his first of three field goal attempts today, tying the game at 17-17 on a 23-yard kick with one second remaining in regulation.
The Michigan defense was about to get off the field but Delano Hill was called for pass interference on a ball that was overthrown by J.T. Barrett, keeping the drive alive for the Buckeyes.
OSU got the ball all the way down to the Michigan 8, but a false start penalty and some confusion on offense pushed the Buckeyes all the way out to the 17. On third down, Barrett completed a pass to Noah Brown at the 5, but the Buckeyes were forced to settle for the field goal attempt.
Buckeyes miss another field goal
OSU decided to roll the dice on fourth and 1 and picked up the first down inside the Michigan 10. The Wolverine defense was able to flex its muscles close to the goal line, however, and Tyler Durbin missed a 20-yard field goal.
Michigan still leads 17-14 with 7:01 left to play.
J.T. Barrett reeled off a 41-yard run to get the Buckeyes into Michigan territory.
Michigan defense hold again
Michigan wasn't able to answer OSU's touchdown with one of their own, but Kenny Allen was able to give the ball back to the Buckeyes at their own 16, where the Wolverine defense sacked J.T. Barrett twice to for a three and out.
With 12:03 remaining, Michigan is clinging to its 17-14 lead.
Speight's mistake opens the door for OSU
Wilton Speight threw his second interception of the day and the Buckeyes took advantage with a 1-yard touchdown run by Mike Weber which cuts the Michigan lead to 17-14 with 1:06 remaining in the third quarter.
OSU initially had the ball at the Wolverine 13, but an offsides call and a Jim Harbaugh unsportsmanlike penalty set the Buckeyes up inside the 5.
The Wolverines are losing the turnover battle and momentum is very much in favor of the Buckeyes right now.
OSU offense stalls in enemy territory
The Buckeye offense was able to get into Michigan territory after a couple first downs were picked up by J.T. Barrett on the ground. The OSU signal caller has struggled to throw all day, however, and the Buckeyes are going to need him to be better if they are going to have a shot to comeback and beat a stout Wolverines defense.
With 3:15 remaining in the third quarter, Michigan still leads, 17-7.
Michigan stretches its lead
The OSU punt team got a look it liked deep in its own territory and tried to run a fake punt, but the Wolverines were ready for it and were able to snuff it out, giving the ball back to their offense at the Buckeye 22.
This time, Wilton Speight wouldn't be denied, throwing an 8-yard touchdown pass to Khalid Hill that gives Michigan a 17-7 lead with 6:37 to play in the third quarter.
Speight fumbles it back to the Buckeyes
Michigan got the ball down to the OSU 1, but Wilton Speight fumbled the exchange from his center and the Buckeyes recovered after it looked like the Wolverines were going to take control of the game.
Speight started the drive with an 11-yard completion to Jake Butt. De'Veon Smith ran the ball twice for 22 yards to get the ball down near the goal line.
Peppers makes a play
The Buckeyes moved the ball out near midfield, but the Wolverines defense pressured J.T. Barrett, who overthrew his receiver and had a ball tipped into the hands of Jabrill Peppers.
The pick is actually the first of Peppers' career, giving Michigan the ball at the OSU 42.

Michigan responds with big drive before the half
A big kick return by Jabrill Peppers set the Wolverines offense up nicely on their own 45, and this time, they were able to take advantage with a 1-yard touchdown run Khalid Hill that gives Michigan a 10-7 lead with six seconds left to play in the first half.
Speight completed third down passes to Grant Perry and Amara Darboh to keep the drive alive. A personal foul was called on OSU inside the 10, giving Michigan a first down on the 1, where the Buckeyes held the power run game of the Wolverines out of the end zone on first and second down.
Speight has been solid in his return to the field, going 15-for-20 for 141 yards. He did, however, make the biggest mistake of the half with his pick-six before the scoring drive.
Pick-six puts Buckeyes on top
After getting the ball back, Wilton Speight dropped back into his own end zone and made a terrible decision under pressure, throwing a pick-six as he was hit. Malik Hooker was the recipient of the gift of an interception, returning it 16 yards for a touchdown that gives OSU a 7-3 lead with 4:03 remaining until halftime.
Prior to that, the Wolverine defense was able to force an Ohio State punt twice on the same possession. Grant Perry hit the punter the first time around, but the defense responded by getting off the field three plays later.
Defense is the name of the game
The Wolverine defense is doing a nice job of shutting down the high-powered OSU offense early on, but the offense hasn't been able to take advantage of great field position.
After forcing a Buckeye punt, Michigan punted the ball right back, with Kenny Allen pinning OSU at its own 4. That's Allen's third downed punt inside the 10.
With 11:03 left to play before the half, the Wolverines are still leading, 3-0.
Wolverines get on the board
After the defense forced the Buckeyes to go three and out, the Michigan offense marched down to the OSU 5 before settling for a 27-yard Kenny Allen field goal to give the Wolverines a 3-0 lead with 13:31 to play in the second quarter.
On third down from the 5, Michigan brought in Jabrill Peppers to run the ball out of the wildcat formation, but he was brought down in space by a defender.
Wilton Speight hasn't shown any signs of his injury and completed passes to three different receivers on the drive, including a 22-yard pass to Jake Butt that got the Wolverines inside the OSU 20. Speight is 7-for-10 for 85 yards.
Drive stalls, but Allen does his job
The Wolverines were able to move the ball out to midfield again, but what should have been pass interference on an Ohio State defender on Amara Darboh on a third down throw from Wilton Speight wasn't called and Michigan was forced to punt.
Kenny Allen pinned the Buckeyes inside their 10 for the second time in as many kicks. J.T. Barrett and Co. will take over at their own 4.
Michigan did pick up a big third down on a 21-yard toss from Speight to Perry earlier in the drive.
Buckeyes miss early field goal
Ohio State marched 72 yards but Tyler Durbin hooked a 37-yard field goal wide left and the game is still scoreless with 8:11 to play in the first quarter.
The Buckeyes quickly got out of the shadow of their own end zone with a Curtis Samuel run that went for 15 yards out to the 22. J.T. Barrett rans twice for 25 yard on the drive, but on third and 8, he couldn't find a man open downfield and OSU was forced to settle for the field goal try.
Wolverines stall after crossing midfield
With Wilton Speight back at quarterback, Michigan picked up two first downs on its opening drive but stalled after it crossed into OSU territory.
Jabrill Peppers took a snap on the second play, a six-yard run for a first down.
Speight completed his first pass attempt on the third play of the drive, a 16-yard pickup to Jake Butt for a first down near midfield.
The Buckeyes will take over at their own 7.

A lot on the line today for Michigan, Ohio State
The Michigan and Ohio State rivalry always means something, but with a spot in the College Football Playoff on the line today, it means just a little bit more.
Both teams come into today's game with a loss on their record. The loser will see its hopes of a national championship come to an end at the hands of its rival.
A win for the Wolverines will put them, somewhat unbelievably, in the first Big Ten Championship in program history.
OSU will need a win today coupled with a Michigan State win over Penn State later today to reach the conference title game, but many feel the Buckeyes could still lock up a spot in the CFP with a win today against Jim Harbaugh's crew.
The biggest question coming into today is who will start at quarterback for Michigan. Wilton Speight was seen warming up before the game, but the possibility still remains that he may not be healthy enough to go with a shoulder injury he suffered against Iowa two weeks ago.
