1 hurt in Roseville shooting; suspect sought
Roseville police are seeking tips to find a suspect accused of shooting and wounding a man Thursday.
The suspect and a 50-year-old Clinton Township man started fighting outside a home on Macomb Street at about 5:10 p.m., investigators said in a statement.
“During this altercation, the suspect produced a handgun and discharged several rounds, striking the victim at least twice,” the release read.
The victim suffered gunshot wounds to a hand and groin, police said, and was being treated Thursday at a hospital and was expected to survive.
Witnesses reported seeing the suspect run northwest from the scene near Church and Oakdale.
Michigan State Police helped search with a K-9 unit.
Authorities describe the man as bald, African-American and 45-50 years old. He was last seen wearing a green coat with a fur trim around the hood.
