Detroit police are seeking tips to find two people accused of stealing money from a car on the city’s east side last month.

Investigators learned the pair allegedly broke into a white 2015 Ford at about 2:25 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 17100 block of Harper.

A camera captured the suspects parking next to the car, opening a trunk then taking the container of cash, authorities said in a statement.

Photos of the pair were released Monday to generate tips.

Anyone who recognizes them or has information about the theft or the pair is asked to call the Detroit Police Department at (313) 596-5557. Anonymous tips can also be left through the DPD Connect app or Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
