Meijer locations across the Midwest will have “limited quantities” of the NES Classic Edition in stock Thursday.

A Meijer spokesman said the Walker, Michigan-based chain will have varying numbers of the hot items at all of their stores. The system, which retails for $59.99, quickly sold out following its Nov. 11 release, and has been one of the most popular items for 2016 holiday shoppers.

The systems will be available at all Meijer locations after 8 a.m. Thursday.

The NES Classic is a miniaturized game system modeled after the original 1985 Nintendo Entertainment System that revolutionized home gaming. The new system plugs directly into a television, and comes loaded 30 games, including “The Legend of Zelda,” “Donkey Kong,” “Super Mario Bros.” and “Super Mario Bros. 3,” “Final Fantasy” and “Metroid.”

The system comes with an original controller but can be paired with some modern Nintendo remotes, too.

Meijer has more than 200 stores throughout Michigan and parts of the Midwest.
