The Detroit News welcomes members of the auto industry and general public to attend NAIAS: The Final Word, an AutoMobili-D panel discussion featuring U.S. Sen. Gary Peters and Julia Steyn, vice president of Maven and urban mobility at General Motors Co. The panel will be moderated by Detroit News business columnist Daniel Howes.
The event will take place from 6 p.m.- 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, during the industry days. It is free and does not require an auto show ticket. Howes will lead a discussion with Steyn and Peters about the future of mobility in Detroit and globally. Topics likely to be covered include car- and ride-sharing, autonomous driving, connected car technologies and federal regulation governing it all.
The symposium is located on the Atrium Stage at the bottom of the escalator, near the ballroom in the Cobo Center.
