Report: Dodgers might take second look at Kinsler deal

The Detroit News

The Dodgers might be taking a second look at Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler.

Ken Rosenthal of Foxsports.com reported the Dodgers were at “an impasse” with the Twins regarding a possible deal for second baseman Brian Dozier, and were expected to look at other options, including Kinsler and Logan Forsythe of the Rays.

Right-hander Jose DeLeon was reportedly discussed with the Twins and he presumably would be mentioned in any talks with the Tigers.

Kinsler has a partial no-trade clause and the Dodgers are on his list. His agent, Jay Franklin, told Rosenthal he would need a contract extension to agree to a move.
