Tigers Winter Caravan to touch bases Jan. 19-20

The Detroit News

The two-day 2017 Tigers Winter Caravan will be making several stops Thursday and Friday, Jan. 19-20, in the Detroit area and western Michigan.

Tigers' Victor Martinez, left, and Anibal Sanchez, right, check out the baseball cards that Lt. Mike Bailey got when he attended the Tigers Fantasy Camp in 2012 during the Tigers Winter Caravan stop at the Livonia Fire Station in 2016.

Tigers general manager Al Avila and manager Brad Ausmus will be joined by coaches, players, broadcasters and mascot Paws on the annual tour, which is designed to whip up baseball fever.
