Sophomore Caleb Swanigan was held without a double-double in two straight games as Purdue closes the season at home against rival Indiana, then at Northwestern. Last week: 1.Tony Ding, AP2. Minnesota (22-7, 10-6) — The Golden Gophers are playing as well as any team in the conference, winning seven in a row after beating Maryland soundly on the road and taking care of Penn State at home. They have a home game vs. Nebraska left followed by a trip to Wisconsin. Last week: 6Jim Mone, AP3. Michigan (19-10, 9-7) — The Wolverines are coming off a huge win at home over Purdue. The Wolverines close on the road vs. Northwestern and Nebraska. Last week: 5Tony Ding, AP4. Michigan State (18-11, 10-6) — The Spartans got the signature victory they were looking for on Sunday by beating Wisconsin at home. They close at Illinois and Maryland. Last week: 7.Al Goldis, AP5. Wisconsin (22-7, 11-5) — One of several Big Ten teams limping down the stretch, the Badgers have lost four of five after Sunday’s defeat at Michigan State. It came after a loss at Ohio State. The Badgers close the regular season at home with games against Iowa and Minnesota. Last week: 2.Al Goldis, AP6. Maryland (22-7, 10-6) — The Terrapins are crumbling down the stretch, having lost three straight, including two in a row at home against Minnesota and Iowa. The Terps finish at Rutgers and home vs. Michigan State. Last week: 3.Patrick Semansky, AP7. Iowa (16-13, 8-8) — After an overtime win at home over Indiana, the Hawkeyes followed with a convincing win at Maryland on Saturday. They travel to Wisconsin followed by a home game with Penn State. They have a chance to play spoiler this week with MSU coming to town before finishing at Rutgers. Last week: 10.Nati Harnik, AP9. Northwestern (20-9, 9-7) — The Wildcats have started to falter down the stretch, losing at Illinois and Indiana. They’ll need to find a win at home in the final week against Michigan or Purdue. Last week: 4Darron Cummings, AP10. Indiana (16-13, 6-10) The Hoosiers ended a five-game skid by rallying late to knock off Northwestern at home on Saturday. They get set to close at Purdue and Ohio State. Last week: 12.Darron Cummings, AP11. Ohio State (16-13, 6-10) — The Buckeyes had the weekend off after ending a three-game slide by beating Wisconsin at home. They close the regular season at Penn State and home against Indiana. Last week: 13.Jay LaPrete, AP12. Nebraska (12-16, 6-10) — After winning two straight, the Cornhuskers have lost two in a row. They can be a spoiler late with a trip to Minnesota before hosting Michigan. Last week: 8.Nati Harnik, AP13. Penn State (14-15, 6-10) — The Nittany Lions came up short in overtime against Purdue. They followed with a loss at Minnesota and now will play at home against Ohio State and at Iowa. Last week: 9.Jim Mone, AP14.
