World of Beer opens in Woodhaven on March 27

Woodhaven's getting a new craft beer spot on Monday, March 27, when World of Beer-Woodhaven opens its doors Downriver.

World of Beer-Woodhaven houses a wide selection of brews from around the globe with over 500 bottles and 50 rotating taps daily.

The tavern will open its doors at 20970 West Road with a special ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. with Mayor Patricia A. Odette, the city manager, and other city officials.

WOB-Woodhaven houses a wide selection of brews from around the globe with over 500 bottles and 50 rotating taps daily, a cask engine and an infusion tower that allows the taverns to infuse beer with herbs, coffee, fruit and more to create new brews, according to a press release from the company.

The beer-paired menu offers modern twists on classic dishes.

WOB-Woodhaven will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
