Tigers tickets rank 7th-cheapest in MLB

Detroit Tigers fans brave the cold weather to get single-game tickets at Comerica Park.

If you're looking to catch a Tigers game or two without breaking the bank, you're in luck.

According to secondary ticket marketplace TickPick, the Tigers enter the season with the seventh-cheapest ticket in baseball at an average price of $51.17. Last year the Tigers' average ticket price ranked 12th at the start of the season.

The Chicago White Sox average the cheapest ticket price at $30.26 followed by the Los Angeles Angels ($32.32), Kansas City Royals ($43.48), Los Angeles Dodgers ($44.99) and Toronto Blue Jays ($48.32).

The reigning World Series champion Chicago Cubs have the most expensive average ticket at $150.63. The Yankees ($106.05), Red Sox ($102.09) and Braves ($101.08) are the only other teams to have an average ticket price over $100.
