A second Joe Meur Seafood is preparing to open this spring in Bloomfield Hills and the owners are holding a job fair this week.

The restaurant, inside the Kingsley Inn at 39475 Woodward, is inviting experienced hosts, bartenders, servers, servers assistants, chefs, sous chefs and cooks to apply in person 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 1-5 p.m. Friday.

Those looking for work should bring a resume and three professional references. The restaurant, owned by Joe Vicari of the Joe Vicari Restaurant Group (which includes Andiamo restaurants), is looking for employees with a minimum of two years of fine-dining experience.

Those who can’t make it to the restaurant this week can apply online at joemuer.com/employment-bloomfield or e-mail a resume to recruiting@joemuer.com.

The Bloomfield Hills Joe Meur Seafood is expected to open this spring at the Kingsley, a 150-room hotel on Woodward just south of Long Lake Road.

The menu is expected to be similar to that of the Joe Muer Seafood in the GM Renaissance Center downtown, which opened in 2011 and is named after the original Joe Muer restaurant, which was at Gratiot and Vernor from 1929 until the late 1990s. Expect oysters, sushi and other seafood, plus a piano bar.

Call the restaurant at (248) 792-9606.
