Allen Park — Did you know Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn looks at mock drafts? It’s true.

Former Western Michigan star Corey Davis could be the top wide receiver taken in the draft.

Quinn admitted as much at his press conference last week, noting he has a staffer puts together a chart each week leading up to the draft.

“He puts together a nice little chart for us and he emails to us once a week and we sit back and print it off and kind of see who we’re taking,” Quinn said. “Everyone else knows except for me.”

Well, Bob, I have no idea who you’re taking. You haven’t returned any of my calls when I’ve inquired. But that won’t stop me from offering one final first-round projection, based on studying team needs, reading countless scouting reports and some light film work.

Mercifully, here is my final mock of the year. See you in 2018.
