Tigers announce winter caravan stops

The Detroit News

The new-look Tigers are meeting up in Detroit next week to kick off the annual winter caravan.

Fox Sports Detroit broadcast analyst Craig Monroe, and former Tiger outfielder, laughs while Miguel Cabrera, right, answers a question during the Tigers winter caravan last year.

The Tigers will make several stops across Michigan on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with several of them open to the public.

Participating in the fan tour will be general manager Al Avila, new manager Ron Gardenhire, new Hall-of-Famer Alan Trammell and dozens of Tigers players. TigerFest wraps up the week's festivities, at Comerica Park on Saturday.

Tickets are still available, at tigers.com, $29 for adults and $15 for kids.
