Meghan Markle baptized

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, told British TV that MeghanMarkle’s March 6 baptism into the Church of England “was very special. It was beautiful and sincere and very moving. It was a great privilege.” Markle, 36, has reportedly not discussed her religious views, but her parents are both believed to be Protestants. The baptism, required since her grandmother-in-law-to-be is the head of the Church of England, took place at St. James Palace in London, with Markle’s royal fiance, Prince Harry, 33, at her side. No word on whether it involved total immersion.

The kid’s alright

“Parks & Recreation’s” Aziz Ansari has avoided reporters since an anonymous sexual-assault accusation was leveled against him in January on Babe.net, but his former “P&R” co-star Adam Scott says the 34-year old is handling things OK, according to Page Six. “I’ll say this,” he said, “Aziz is doing great. He’s a great, lovely guy.” The anonymous complaint alleged the “Master of None” star ignored numerous cues that she wasn’t interested in getting physical. The woman said Ansari texted her the next day to say it had been “fun.” She wrote back, “It wasn’t for me.” In response, Ansari released a statement reading, “It was true that everything did seemed okay to me, so when I heard that it was not the case for her, I was surprised and concerned. I took her words to heart and responded privately.”

Don McLean’s December-May romance

Don McLean, who just got out from under a domestic-assault charge filed by his ex-wife, seems to have hit it rich in the romance department — the 72-year-old “American Pie” singer/songwriter is dating a 24-year-old model named Paris Dylan. Where the lovebirds met hasn’t been revealed, but Dylan and McLean have been posting photos together on social media since November 2016. In October, Dylan captioned a picture of the pair with, “Happy birthday to the love of my entire life.”
