Allen Park — Two familiar faces will announce the Detroit Lions’ second- and third-round picks on Friday.

The NFL announced 32 “NFL legends” will represent the league’s franchises in Round 2. In previous years, players such as Barry Sanders, Herman Moore, Lem Barney have announced Detroit’s selections. This year, it will be wide receiver Nate Burleson.

One of the most amicable players in the locker room during his time with the team, Burleson started 38 games during his four seasons in Detroit, catching 194 passes for 2,083 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Following his retirement in 2014, Burleson has parlayed his gregarious personality into a broadcasting gig, serving as one of the host for the NFL Network show “Good Morning Football.”

The Lions are scheduled to select No. 51 in the second round.

Third-round picks are slated to be announced by former Walter Payton Man of the Year nominees, and the Lions will be represented by Stephen Tulloch. He earned the team’s honor four consecutive years, from 2012-15, for his work in the community through his Operation 55 foundation.

Tulloch returned to Detroit last season to retire as a member of the Lions.
