To celebrate Wu-Tang Clan’s appearance at the upcoming Movement electronic music festival in Detroit, Woodbridge pizza joint Pie-Sci will honor the hip-hop group with their weekly specialty pizza.

Pie-Sci pizza cafe in Woodbridge's weekly specialty pizza is Cashews Rule Everything Around Me, to celebrate Wu-Tang Clan's performance at the Movement festival Memorial Day Weekend.

Named “Cashews Rule Everything Around Me,” the vegan ’za is topped with chimichurri sauce, mushrooms, lemon asparagus, house-made cashew cheese and strawberry-rubarb-mint drizzle. The name is a reference to Wu-Tang's 1994 single "C.R.E.A.M." (Cash Rules Everything Around Me).

A small pie is $9 and a large is $15. The pizza will be offered through Sunday.

Wu-Tang Clan is scheduled to close out the Movement festival on Memorial Day, May 28. This spring, the group is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its debut album "‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)."

Opened in the summer of 2016, Pie-Sci is known for having unique menu items and flavorful drizzles, and any pizza can be made vegan or gluten-free.

Pie-Sci is located at 5163 Trumbull in Detroit. Call (313) 818-0290 to order. View the full menu at piescipizza.com.
