Tigers reliever Alex Wilson’s wife Kristin attended Santa Fe High in Texas, outside of Houston, where 10 people were killed, most of whom were students, after a 17-year-old opened fire with a shotgun and a pistol.

Wilson took to social media in the aftermath of Friday’s tragedy, posting on Instagram: “Heavy hearts for everyone involved and connected to the tragic events that unfolded today ..... we are praying for you #enoughisenough.

The post included a photo of the school’s Native American mascot with the message “Pray for Santa Fe.”

Kristin also tweeted: “Santa Fe High School is my alma mater, please PRAY for everyone involved! Psalm 34:18.”

Alex is in Seattle with the Tigers, who are playing the third of a four-game series against the Mariners tonight.
