Lions claim WR Chris Lacy off waivers

The Detroit News
Chris Lacy played four seasons at Oklahoma State.

The Detroit Lions claimed receiver Chris Lacy off waivers from the New England Patriots on Monday.

Lacy signed with the Patriots as an undrafted rookie free agent this year out of Oklahoma State, where he finished his four-year career with 63 catches for 920 yards and five touchdowns in 49 games.

To clear a roster spot, the Lions waived cornerback Josh Okonye, who signed with the team last week following a rookie minicamp tryout.
