3-star Ohio LB Luke Fulton commits to Michigan State

The Michigan State football team added another linebacker to its 2019 recruiting class.

Luke Fulton, a three-star prospect from Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney, revealed Thursday on Twitter his plans to play for Michigan State. He is the second linebacker to verbally commit to the Spartans, joining Clinton Township Chippewa Valley’s Marcel Lewis, and the second player from Ohio.

The Spartans have eight players who have verbally committed in the 2019 class.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Fulton is ranked No. 26 in Ohio, according to the 247Sports Composite, and No. 23 in the country among inside linebackers.

As a junior, he registered 125 tackles and eight forced fumbles.
