Five-star forward Keion Brooks is ranked the No. 3 prospect in Indiana and No. 23 in the nation by 247Sports.

Michigan and Michigan State will be duking it out for another top-25 recruit in the 2019 class.

Keion Brooks, a five-star forward from Indiana, announced on Twitter this past weekend that the Wolverines and Spartans are among his 10 finalists. Brooks' list also includes three other Big Ten schools (Indiana, Iowa and Purdue) as well as Georgetown, Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas and UCLA.

Brooks (6-foot-8, 185 pounds) reportedly averaged 23.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists during his junior season at Fort Wayne North Side High. He's rated the No. 23 prospect in the nation and fifth at his position for 2019 in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Michigan State is projected as the favorite to land Brooks in the 247Sports crystal ball predictions.

Last month, Michigan and Michigan State were also finalists for five-star point guard Tyrese Maxey and four-star forward Romeo Weems. Both came up empty as Maxey picked Kentucky and Weems chose DePaul.

Michigan already has landed a major recruiting coup for 2019 with a commitment from four-star forward and top-40 recruit Jalen Wilson, while Michigan State has no commits for 2019 yet.
