When Jaren Jackson Jr. and Miles Bridges were taken in the first round of last month’s NBA Draft, they became the 19th and 20th players under Michigan State coach Tom Izzo to be selected.

Dating back to Izzo’s first season leading the Spartans in 1995-96, there have been 11 players taken in the first round with nine selected in the second. Those Spartans have had varied amounts of success and at least one has found a niche without hearing his name called on draft night.

That, of course, is Bryn Forbes, who did not get selected following his senior year at MSU in 2016 but has become regular with the San Antonio Spurs, playing in 80 games last season while shooting 39 percent from 3-point range.

How Jackson and Bridges fare remains to be seen, but we decided to take a look back at how the rest of Izzo’s draft picks have done over the years.
