Man fatally shot after a fight in Detroit

Detroit — A 24-year-old man was fatally shot Friday night after a fight ensued between three men on the city's west side. 

The incident happened at 10:28 p.m. in the 14000 block of Beaverland, near Eliza Howell Park, on reports of a burglary. 

Police said the 24-year-old man was wearing all black with an unknown type of odd gloves on his hands, armed with a handgun when he was pronounced dead on scene.

Officers found the man lying face up on the kitchen floor of the residence unresponsive.

Witnesses saw the man fighting with two suspects in his driveway. One suspect held the victim in a bear hug in his driveway causing the victim to drop his weapon, while the other began to fight him, police said 

Both suspects fled on foot and police have not released descriptions of the suspects.
