Allen Park – Officially, the Detroit Lions didn’t practice on Wednesday. Instead, they conducted a walkthrough, which isn’t required to be open to the media.

The team still released an injury report, but strictly based on estimations of whether players would have practiced.

The good news, quarterback Matthew Stafford (shin) was listed a full participant, and defensive end Ziggy Ansah, who left Monday night’s game against the Jets in the second quarter and couldn’t return, was projected as a limited participant.

That gels with ESPN report that said Ansah had an MRI done on his injured shoulder and was cleared of any major structural damage.

As for Stafford's shin, the quarterback said on Wednesday he was stepped on during the game and his leg was "cleated up pretty good."

The bad news for the Lions is guard T.J. Lang could not have participated on Wednesday due to the back injury he suffered late in the loss to the Jets.

Lang’s battled durability issues ever since signing with Detroit last year. He missed three games in 2017 while dealing with foot and back issues. He also missed significant portions of training camp the past two years.
