The 2018 Detroit Tigers were only one game under .500 with a record of 36-37 on June 17 and optimism was high heading into an Ohio road trip.

However, after getting swept in Cincinnati and Cleveland, the Tigers went on to the worst record in baseball over the final 89 games of the year.
