“I want to thank God for blessing me with my abilities and the opportunities that this recruiting process has brought me,” Young posted on Twitter. “I also would like to thank all the coaches that saw my talent and took the time to make connections with me and my family. Lastly I would like to thank my family and supporters for following me throughout this process. This has been a long journey and one of the hardest decisions in my life. But with that being said I am excited to announce that I’m committed to Michigan State University. #GoGreen”

The three-star prospect is ranked the No. 37 running back in the nation, according to 247Sports, and becomes the third running back to commit to Michigan State’s 2019 class. He joins three-stars Anthony Williams Jr. of Illinois and Brandon Wright from Ohio.

Michigan State has 18 players committed to the 2019 class.
