Veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall worked out for the Lions, according to a report from ESPN.

Marshall, a 13-year veteran, was released last week by Seattle after playing two snaps against the Lions in a 28-14 win on Oct. 28.

The six-time Pro Bowler, 34, was released by the New York Giants this offseason after one year.

He also played for Denver, Miami, Chicago and the New York Jets. He has 970 receptions for 12,381 yards and 83 touchdowns.

He's 16th all-time in career receptions, just 12 behind Randy Moss.

The Lions traded wide receiver Golden Tate to Philadelphia last week and the trio of Marvin Jones, Kenny Golladay and TJ Jones combined for 125 receiving yards in Sunday's 24-9 loss at Minnesota.
