Allen Park — The Detroit Lions cleared a roster spot on Monday, waiving cornerback Lenzy Pipkins.
The Lions claimed Pipkins last month and he was active for two games. He was limited to special teams action in those contests, playing 18 total snaps with the units.
The team didn’t immediately announce what it intended to do with the roster opening. Detroit has a number of injuries, which could require a depth signing, including wide receiver and tight end.
