Michigan State landed another piece to its 2020 recruiting class on Sunday.

Cole DeMarzo, a three-star safety/linebacker from Hilton Head, S.C., announced on Twitter that he was headed to Michigan State. He becomes the 13th member of the class.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound DeMarzo picked the Spartans over the likes of Tulane, Cincinnati, Toledo, Air Force and Appalachian State. DeMarzo is ranked the No. 31 prospect in the state of South Carolina by 247Sports and checks in as the 119th outside linebacker in the nation.

DeMarzo is the fourth linebacker to join Michigan State’s class, which includes four-star Darius Snow as well as three-stars Cal Haladay and Devin Hightower.
