Detroit News predictions: Lions vs. Packers

Justin Rogers, John Niyo and Bob Wojnowski of The Detroit News offer their predictions on the outcome of Monday's Lions vs. Packers game at Lambeau Field (8:15 p.m., ESPN/760).

►Justin Rogers: With Davante Adams out, the Lions' biggest concern will be containing running back Aaron Jones. Under Matt Patricia, Detroit has done well taking away the opponent's best weapon. If the Lions can continue that trend, it's a winnable game in a place that used to be impossible for Detroit to get a W. Lions 27, Packers 23

►John Niyo: The Lions will catch another break avoiding an opponent’s No. 1 wideout. But they’ve only beaten a healthy Aaron Rodgers once at Lambeau Field, and the Packers’ defense is playing the takeaway game even better than the Lions so far this season. Packers 27, Lions 20

►Bob Wojnowski: The Lions don’t quiver going to Lambeau Field anymore, winning three of the past four there, beating the Packers four straight overall. But Green Bay has added another Aaron to the arsenal – running back Aaron Jones is as big a focal point as Aaron Rodgers. The Lions better get their run-stopping defense in order, and better unleash their own ground game. Kerryon Johnson will top 100 yards but Green Bay will pop a couple turnovers and hang on.
