Flint Beecher's Jalen Terry decommits from Michigan State basketball recruiting class
Michigan State lost one of its point guards from the 2020 basketball recruiting class.
Jalen Terry, a four-star point guard from Flint Beecher, has decommitted from the class, he announced Monday on social media.
"Me and my family have decided to re-open my recruitment," Terry tweeted.
Terry is ranked the No. 56 player in the country, according to the 247Sports composite, No. 10 among point guards, and No. 2 overall in the state of Michigan. Terry's other offers include Iowa State, Butler, Iowa, Louisville and Mississippi State.
The Spartans had three commits — two point guards — in their 2020 class after AJ Hoggard, a four-star point guard from Huntington (W. Va.) Prep announced his verbal commitment to Michigan State on Oct. 6. Terry was the first commitment to the class, pledging in April.
Mady Sissoko, a four-star center from Wasatch Academy in Utah is also in Michigan State's recruiting class.
