John Smoltz can only help he gets the kind of return on his investment that the Atlanta Braves got when they acquired him from the Detroit Tigers in that still-scrutinzed deadline deal in 1987.

Smoltz, who went on to a Hall-of-Fame career pitching mostly for the Braves, has listed his suburban Atlanta home for $5.2 million.

No surprise, it's quite the home, complete with 10 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, four half-bathrooms and 18,384 square feet in all.

There's also a pond for fishing.

The master bedroom also has a massive alk-in closet, which shows off Smoltz's extensive wardrobe, including a healthy stock of Michigan State garb.

The house also features a large putting green and what appears to be a full-sized golf hole. Smoltz, 52, who was born in Warren and grew up in Lansing, dabbles on the PGA's Champions Tour, the 50-and-older circuit, when he's not calling games for Fox.

The home, located in Milton, Ga., is listed by Harry Norman Realtors, which handles luscury listings in the Atlanta area.

The listing first was reported by TMZ. You can see photos HERE.

Smoltz pitched more than 20 years in the big leagues, all with the Braves except his final season, 2009, split between the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals. He had a career record of 213-155 with 155 saves, and entered the Hall of Fame in 2015. The Tigers drafted him in the 22nd round of the 1985 draft out of Lansing Waverly High School, then dealt him to the Braves for veteran Doyle Alexander in 1987.
