Oakland is flagged for a holding penalty on the next play, setting up first-and-10 at the 42.

Stafford's deep throw to Kenny Golladay is just beyond the target. T.J. Hockenson is hit hard while trying to catch a pass over the middle and can't hang on. Stafford throws it complete to Golladay for a gain of 24 yards to the Oakland 34.

Sam Martin's kickoff is taken for a touchback.

Derek Carr makes a perfect throw to Jalen Richard on the first play of the drive, a 31-yard completion that'll give the Raiders a first down at the 44 of Detroit.

Richard goes up the middle for a gain of 7 and then moves the chains with a 5-yard reception on the next play.

Carr now completes a 23-yard pass to Richard that'll make it first-and-goal at the 9.

Lions get another big stop in fourth

Josh Jacobs goes for a gain of 4 on first down and is stopped after a 3-yard pickup on second down. Derek Carr is forced to throw it away on third down with nobody open.

A 15-yard penalty on Oakland during the punt will give Detroit starting field position at the Lions 37.

The Lions get it at their 35.

Matthew Stafford's throw to Danny Amendola on first down is a touch overthrown. Stafford rolls out and gets out of bounds for a gain of 2 on second down. The Raiders jump offsides on third down. It's now third-and-3. Stafford's throw to T.J. Hockenson is off the mark. Stafford hasn't looked great in this second half.

Trevor Davis returns Sam Martin's punt to the 27.

Josh Jacobs goes up the middle for a gain of 3, but can't hold onto a throw from Derek Carr on third down. Trey Flowers gets to Carr on third down for a loss of 10.

The ensuing punt is downed at the Detroit 35.

Lions punt for first time today

Jamal Agnew's kickoff return ends at the 20.

Paul Perkins takes the first-down handoff for a gain of 3. Matthew Stafford on second down throws wide of Jesse James, who wasn't ready to look for the ball. The Lions convert on third down with a 17-yard catch by Danny Amendola to the 40.

Stafford goes play-action to McKissic and then throws complete to Kenny Golladay for a 21-yard reception that'll give the Lions a first down at the Oakland 39.

Ty Johnson is dropped behind the line by Jonathan Hankins for a loss of 2, and then gets 2 yards on second down. Third-and-10. Oakland dials up a blitz and Stafford is forced to get off a throw that has no shot at being caught by intended receiver Marvin Hall.

Sam Martin's punt goes for a touchback.

Raiders take 24-17 lead early in fourth

Trevor Davis returns the kickoff to the 21.

Derek Carr throws complete to Zay Jones for a pickup of 9 yards on first down. Josh Jacobs moves the sticks with a gain of 4 on the next play.

Jacobs is stopped for a 1-yard gain on first down by Jarrad Davis. Jahlani Tavai wraps up Hunter Renfrow after a reception of 3 yards on second down. Carr finds a wide-open Tyrell Williams on third down for a gain of 22 yards that'll give the Raiders a first down at the Detroit 40.

Carr then finds Marcell Ateman down the seam for a 34-yard completion. First-and-goal at the 6.

Jacobs is stopped by Tavai for a 1-yard gain and then gets 2 yards on second down.

END 3RD: Lions 17, Raiders 17

Will Harris breaks up Carr's throw to the end zone on third down, but there's some yellow laundry on the field. Offsetting penalties will mean a replay of third down, where Carr finds tight end Foster Moreau for a touchdown.

Lions tie things up at 17 with Prater field goal

Detroit takes over at the 35. 

Ty Johnson gets 2 yards on first down and is stopped for no gain on second down. Then there's a false start on Frank Ragnow. Marvin Jones makes a brilliant catch on third down that's good for 15 yards and a new set of downs for Detroit. 

The Raiders are flagged for holding on the next play, making it first-and-10 for Detroit at the Oakland 48.

J.D. McKissic goes up the middle for a gain of 8 on first down and then breaks free for a pickup of 13 on the next play, setting the Lions up with first-and-10 at the 27.

Matthew Stafford then hits Danny Amendola for a gain of 8. McKissic cuts his way through the middle for a gain of 11. First-and-goal at the 8.

McKissic is hammered at the line of scrimmage on the next play. No gain. Stafford dumps it off to Jesse James for a gain of 3 on second down. His throw to Golladay on third down is overthrown.

Lions catch break on missed Raiders field goal

Trevor Davis returns the kickoff to the Oakland 31.

Josh Jacobs rushes for a gain of 3 on first down. Jacobs is swallowed at the line for a gain of 2 on second down. Rashaan Melvin makes a great play to stop Jalen Richard short of the first-down marker. 

The Raiders run a fake punt, and Derek Carrier runs all the way to Detroit's 35 for a 27-yard gain.

Jacobs gets 4 yards on first and second down each. Melvin again makes a great play on third down, this time deflecting Carr's throw and force an incompletion.

Daniel Carlson's 45-yard field goal is no good.

Matthew Stafford hits Ty Johnson for a gain of 6 on first down. Stafford's second-down throw to Marvin Jones is off the mark. Stafford hits a wide-open T.J. Hockenson for a pickup of 23 yards that'll give the Lions a first down at the Oakland 47.

Stafford misfires to Hockenson on the next two plays and is sacked for a loss of 13 yards on third down. Detroit lets the clock run down.

END 2ND: Raiders 17, Lions 14 

Jacobs gives Raiders 17-14 lead near end of second quarter

Josh Jacobs goes up the middle for a gain of 4, but it's called back for a holding penalty. It's now first-and-18. Tyrell Williams catches a 12-yard pass from Derek Carr on first down and Jacobs gets 3 yards on second down. Darren Waller gets open on a crossing route and pulls down a pass before cutting upfield for a gain of 21 yards. It's first down at the Raiders 48.

Williams makes an illegal block on the next play, setting up first-and-20. Jacobs goes for a gain of 8 on first down. Carr's throw on the next play is defended by Jahlani Tavai. Oakland challenges that there was pass interference, but the play is upheld. Carr on third down makes a perfect throw to Williams that's caught for a 14-yard pickup and a Raiders first down at the Detroit 40.

Jacobs cuts his way through the middle for a pickup of 16 yards. First down at the 24.

Oakland goes back to Jacobs on the next play, a gain of 4. Then Carr completes a 17-yard throw to Renfrow. That'll make it first-and-goal at the 3. 

Jacobs finishes the job with a 3-yard touchdown run.

Stafford intercepted in end zone 

Paul Perkins goes up the middle for a gain of 13 on first down. Not a bad return to action for the former New York Giant.

Oakland is flagged for encroachment, making it first-and-5 at the Oakland 47. Marvin Jones gets cracked while pulling down a 17-yard throw from Matthew Stafford, but the Lions have another first down at the Oakland 30.

Oakland defensive end and former Eastern Michigan standout Maxx Crosby is flagged for tripping. It'll now be a first down at the 20.

Daryl Worley makes a spectacular play to intercept Matthew Stafford in the end zone on a throw to Kenny Golladay. Worley and Golladay have words for each other after battling for the ball in the air, and then former Lion Tahir Whitehead comes over to get in Golladay's face. Something to watch.

Lions stand tall with fourth-down stop in own territory

The Raiders get it at the 25 after a touchback.

DeAndre Washington goes for a gain of 3 on first down. Derek Carr completes a 9-yard throw to Hunter Renfrow on second down to give the Raiders a new set of downs at the 37.

Carr then goes to Washington, hitting his back on an option route that nets 21 yards and will make it first-and-10 at the Detroit 42.

Carr's first-down throw to Renfrow is caught for a gain of 8. Washington is swallowed behind the line by Trey Flowers for a loss of 1 on the next play. Flowers gets to Carr as he throws on third down, forcing a misfire. Carr's throw on fourth down is heavily contested by Justin Coleman and forced incomplete.

Lions take first lead of game on 59-yard pass to Golladay

Jamal Agnew returns the kickoff to the 27.

Tyrell Crosby commits a holding penalty on first down, making it first-and-20 at the 17.

Matthew Stafford has good protection on first down, stands in, fires complete to Marvin Jones for a pickup of 20 that'll give the Lions a new set of downs.

Stafford goes back to Jones on the next play, a gain of 14 to the Oakland 49.

J.D. McKissic gets to the left side and out of bounds for a gain of 9, but a holding penalty on Taylor Decker erases it. Again, it's first-and-20.

Stafford hits Kenny Golladay with a deep shot, Golladay makes a few men miss, and he gets into the end zone for a 59-yard touchdown reception. Not a bad start for the offense.

Lions defense bends, Raiders take 10-7 lead

Trevor Davis returns Sam Martin's kickoff to the Oakland 36.

Derek Carr wastes zero time getting things moving for the Raiders, throwing to Darren Waller on first down for a gain of 31 that'll make it first-and-10 at the Detroit 33.

Josh Jacobs goes up the middle for a gain of 3 on first down and 1 on second down. Da'Shawn Hand is flagged for a neutral zone infraction, setting up third-and-1. Alec Ingold gets 2. The Raiders have another first down at the 22.

Zay Jones takes the end-around for a gain of 3 before getting pushed out at the 19.

END 1ST: Lions 7, Raiders 7

Carr throws incomplete on second down. Oakland is then flagged for a false start. Jarrad Davis is flagged for pass interference on a third-down incompletion, giving the Raiders a new set of downs at the 19.

Jacobs is stopped for a gain of 2 on first down. Carr has all day to throw and eventually dumps it off to Jones for a gain of 3. Third-and-5 coming up. The third-down snap is slow, but Carr is somehow able to recover it far behind the line of scrimmage and just throw it away.

Daniel Carlson's 32-yard field goal is through the uprights.

Lions tie things up at 7 with big play from Jones

Detroit takes the kickoff for a touchback.

Ty Johnson with another good run up the middle on first down, a gain of 9. He moves the chains on second down with a pickup of 3. 

Matthew Stafford fakes the give, rolls out and hits T.J. Hockenson on first down for an easy 14-yard completion.

Johnson is absolutely drilled while catching a pass out of the backfield on the next play, a 1-yard loss. More play-action on third down, and this time, Stafford loads up for a deep throw to Marvin Jones, who somehow comes down with it despite being heavily covered. That's a pickup of 47 yards that'll make it first-and-goal at the 3.

Stafford misfires to Danny Amendola on first down. Johnson is stuffed up the middle for a gain of 1 on second down. Stafford is forced to quickly get rid of it on third down and is unable to throw complete to J.D. McKissic. The Lions go for it on fourth down, scoring on a bullet from Stafford to Jones.

Oakland takes over at the 32.

Josh Jacobs takes a first-down handoff for 7 yards and on second down he moves the chains with a gain of 4. 

Jacobs rips off another run on the next play, bouncing outside to the right and going down at the Detroit 40 for a gain of 17. 

DeAndre Washington gets his first carry of the game for Oakland, pushing forward to the Detroit 35. Derek Carr hits Zay Jones for a pickup of 9 on second down. 

Jacobs gets 4 yards and it'll be second-and-6 from the 4. Carr's second-down pass is too high for the intended receiver. Hunter Renfrow picks up the first down for Oakland with an 8-yard reception.

Jacobs gets to the Detroit 5 with a 9-yard run on first down. Jacobs makes it first-and-goal from the 2 with a 3-yard gain on the next play.

Jacobs punches it home from 2 yards out.

Stafford then finds Kenny Golladay on a short crossing route, and Golladay gets up the right sideline for a gain of 28 yards that'll put the Lions at Oakland's 39.

Stafford throws incomplete to Jones on first down. Ty Johnson then cuts up the middle and moves the chains with a gain of 10.

Stafford completes a 2-yard throw to Johnson on first down. Stafford and J.D. McKissic fumble on the handoff exchange on second down. Oakland recovers at the 32.
